At Last

Time is an enigma—a strange, illusionary state of mind. With bittersweet objectivity, time escapes everyone and no one… a gentle reminder of how fragile this thing called life really is.

It's been almost a year since my initial post and my dreams are just now coming to fruition. This is how it unfolded...

After a keyboard fumble with my PC, I had no choice but to rely on my back up—[a rusty, dusty clunker that I lovingly toted around campus like a dork when I was in school].
My severely neglected IBM laptop circa 1990 which has been collecting dust on top of a stack of old beloved magazines.

I cracked it open clam-shell style, to reveal the screen that spawned the original post below and to my pleasant surprise, I noticed something that I hadn’t before. Against my desktop image is a beautiful drawing by one of my favorite artists [Kurt Halsey] of a woman with her hair in the wind and the silhouette of her four-legged friend right beside her. Coincidence, I don't think so...

I'm thrilled to delve into this whole blogger experience and unleash the diary within because ultimately none of you, “have any idea.” [Reference to the now obsolete MTV documentary series Diary Of...] I'll spend much of this weekend dedicated to mapping out the blueprints.

Cheers, to new endeavors in Two.Thousand.Nine.
